This is a basic course designed to improve the awareness of the hazards of working in an environment where Ammonia (NH3) may be present.

The Fire Extinguisher course is intended to provide people with information on fire prevention, evacuation and suppression.

Ground Disturbance

This one-day program is designed for any party that is supervising a Ground Disturbance, independently performing a Ground Disturbance, or issuing and receiving Ground Disturbance permits.

H2S Awareness

This course is designed to improve the awareness of the hazards of working in an H2S environment.

Self Contained Breathing Apparatus

This course is designed to provide the student with the basic skills necessary to use Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (S.C.B.A.).

Shell Scotford Breathing Apparatus Training

At the end of this course the end-user should be knowledgeable of potentially hazardous environments, the requirements for wearing breathing apparatus, the proper procedures for donning, doffing, and inspecting the apparatus as well as the proper care and maintenance of the equipment.

Wildlife Awareness

This course is intended for anyone who may encounter wildlife while at work or play and wants to know what to do in the event of an encounter.

Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness & Intermediate

This Energy Safety Canada Course is for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and many oil and gas sites and is made up of 3 parts. Wildlife Awareness, Intermediate, and Practical Skills Assessment.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods

The TDG course provides participants with the knowledge to understand the regulations and proper procedures for packaging, handling and transporting dangerous goods.

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information

The WHMIS course and provides participants with a working knowledge of the main components of the new WHMIS. This course will outline the recent changes to WHMIS and will compare WHMIS 1998 to the new WHMIS 2015.

Energy Safety Canada™ (ESC) courses

Western Canada Fire & First Aid Inc. instructors are trained and certified by Energy Safety Canada (ESC) to deliver, on ESC’s behalf, this End User program.

Confined Space (ESC)

This training is for those who plan on working at an oil sands specific work site. Otherwise, Western Canada Fire & First Aid Inc. (WCFF) offers an Occupation Health & Safety (OH&S) compliant Confined Space Entry course.

Fall Protection (ESC)

H2S Alive ®

This course may be required certification for permission to enter an industrial site. The H2S Alive® course may be required by employers in the oil and gas industry or other industries where H2S may be encountered.
