Energy Safety Canada™ (ESC) courses
Western Canada Fire & First Aid Inc. instructors are trained and certified by Energy Safety Canada (ESC) to deliver, on ESC’s behalf, this End User program.
Confined Space (ESC)
This training is for those working at an oil and gas-specific worksite.
This training teaches participants to identify, understand and mitigate the potential hazards of working in restricted and confined spaces.
Fall Protection (ESC)
This training is for those working at an oil and gas-specific worksite.
Designed to educate the worker in the planning, use, care and implementation of common fall protection systems, it includes both theory and practical application exercises.
H2S Alive ® (ESC)
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to help them identify and detect H2S, mitigate the hazards of working in an H2S environment, and respond to an incident involving an H2S release.
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (ESC)
Through a combination of theory and practical application, this course provides basic operator training for working with Type 3, Group B MEWPs with a focus on managing hazards and selecting, inspecting, and operating a MEWP.
Participants must have a valid ESC Fall Protection Certificate.
