*NEW OPERATOR* Powered Mobile Equipment – Front-end Loader (Wheel Loader), Skid Steer, Excavator, Variable Reach Lift Trucks (Zoom Boom), Off Highway Vehicle, and Lift Trucks (Forklift)
A new operator is one who does not have over 100 hours of recent experience operating the equipment. Since more time is spent with new operators, only TWO pieces of equipment can be chosen per day. A $75 fee will be added to the equipment skill you want to be certified in.
Powered Mobile Equipment (PME) training courses provided by Western Canada Fire & First Aid follow the guidelines and principles outlined in Part 19 of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code as well as those established by the Canadian Standards Association and recommendations by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS). The PME programs cover the basic knowledge and skill requirements for the safe operation of the equipment and their attachments.
Are you registering multiple pieces of equipment? Use the Combination options. It will save you money!
