Basic Crane and Rigging
This course is designed to introduce the learner to the basic concepts, hazards, hazard control processes and safe work procedures associated with operating overhead cranes.
It follows the regulations, guidelines, principles and recommendations established by the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.
At the end of this course the end-user should be familiar with the basics of rigging a load and operating the overhead crane safely.
