Mental Health First Aid Basic

Mental Health First Aid: Basic

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), a course of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, provides you with the skills needed to extend crucial support to individuals navigating mental health crises or challenges. Much like traditional first aid, MHFA fosters the ability to identify common signs and symptoms of distress and deliver immediate aid until professional assistance is accessed, and beyond.

Develop key foundational skills in this two-day workshop, such as learning to recognize the signs of common mental health problems, effective communication skills, intervention techniques, and community supports.
